Approach

In order to deliver solutions that meet our clients' evolving objectives, Elevation leverages a cyclical development approach. It ensures that upfront strategy and planning enable efficient delivery and finally complete strategic optimization. This flexible, scalable approach can easily manage the needs of a range of projects, from large, multidiscipline eCommerce engagements to small, streamlined marketing solutions, allowing clients the appropriate level of involvement they desire in all projects.

The Elevation model is iterative and adaptable. It identifies and addresses risks early in the planning stages and defines the variables and responsibilities that may affect implementation to help all parties understand their roles. This creates defined, manageable milestones in order to easily track development throughout the project lifecycle. Clients participate in reviews throughout, and provide feedback that influences revisions and progress.

Evaluate

Elevation works with the client to define the detailed requirements, or the "blueprint“ of the project. There are three main groups of requirements (Business Requirements, User Requirements and Functional Requirements) that must be defined, aligned and transformed into the final specification and plan.

This phase often includes user interface design, initial visual design, and technical integration, including any necessary connections to back-end or third party systems. If necessary, the selection of software packages will be driven by this detailed analysis of design, functionality and technology and will be completed during this phase.

The client is often very involved in this phase working with Elevation to verify all of these requirements and the architecture, both technical and visual, that is developed for the project.

Execute

Once the planning phases are completed, the visual look and feel of the solution is created, refined and finalized. During this time, the back-end technical architecture is built concurrently. Once all design is approved, the graphics and content will be finalized and the technical development and testing of the site commences. At the end of the execute phase, the site and back-end functionality will be complete.

Evolve

The ability to measure real-time results and iteratively optimize solutions is unique to the Internet, and therefore an essential phase for clients, especially in justifying expenditures. Because metrics are determined in a previous phase, Elevation is well positioned to analyze results and recommend immediate areas of improvement as well as next-phase optimization opportunities.

Elevation is an interactive marketing and technology firm founded by Eric & Adam Heneghan, pioneers in the interactive solutions industry. Our primary goal is to help clients, including Chicago Mercantile Exchange, NAVTEQ, Jones Lang LaSalle, Pella Corporation and H2O Plus, build premium online solutions and keep implementation costs low by deploying experienced teams focused on streamlined project delivery. These solutions, coupled with meaningful online measurement, allow us to maximize a client’s return on investment.

Leadership

Eric Heneghan


A natural entrepreneur, Eric has been a thought leader in the eBusiness industry since its inception. As CEO, Eric is responsible for Elevation’s strategic direction, corporate alliances, industry communications and client relationships. Prior to forming Elevation, Eric and his brother Adam successfully founded and grew Giant Step, where they led the company for ten years in building Internet solutions for such leading companies as Maytag, General Motors, RCA, United Airlines and LexisNexis. Eric speaks regularly on eCommerce strategies at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and sits on the advisory council of the University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie School of Management marketing department.

Adam Heneghan


As president, Adam’s responsibilities range from the development of Elevation’s vision and service offerings, to general operations and client project delivery. Prior to founding Elevation in 2001, Adam gathered over ten years of relevant management experience to draw from as the co-founder and president of Giant Step, an Internet professional services provider that counted such companies as United Airlines, Hallmark, Maytag, Procter & Gamble, Lexis Nexis and Philip Morris as clients. Adam has served as a juror for various industry awards shows, including the International Advertising Festival in Cannes, and, as a member of Microsoft’s Site Builder Network, Adam was also called on to help author How the Web Was Won (Microsoft Press, 1998).

Claire Brinkley


As vice president, Claire’s role is to oversee business development, day-to-day operations and client relationships at Elevation. She is responsible for working closely with the client and Elevation’s project managers, client service consultants and implementation teams to ensure that Elevation’s mission is upheld: providing an unparalleled level of client service while delivering premium solutions. Prior to joining the Elevation team in the fall of 2001, Claire served as director of business development at Giant Step for 3 1⁄2 years. In this capacity, she led the Giant Step team in the acquisition of such clients as Allstate, LexisNexis, Ralston Purina, Pella Corporation, Northern Trust and Discover Financial Services. Claire also led all marketing and public relations efforts at Giant Step, and was responsible for building primary relationships with leading industry analysts and technology partners.

Greg Galloway


As vice president and general manager of Elevation’s New York presence, Greg responsibilities include client acquisition and online marketing/measurement strategy for Elevation’s clients. Recent work includes media consulting for Pella Corporation and a business intelligence strategy for NAVTEQ. Greg came to Elevation after a five year tenure at Giant Step, where he first worked as an account manager, driving interactive initiatives for such clients as Kellogg’s, Ralston Purina, RCA Electronics, Samsonite and True Value. He moved on to serve as the director of online marketing and advertising for Giant Step in 1997, where he developed integrated marketing strategies for Hallmark, Oldsmobile, United Airlines and Procter and Gamble. Recognizing the importance of performance-based metrics in online adverting, he was instrumental in developing internal ad-serving and closed loop measurement capabilities. In 1999, he was promoted to vice president and launched Giant Step’s New York operations, serving the Philip Morris family of companies.

Sunil Taneja


Sunil joined Elevation in 2002 to serve as Elevation's Chief Technology Officer. In this capacity. Sunil oversees the technology implementation teams and serves as a senior technology consultant to clients, responsible for the technical strategy, implementation and integration of clients’ systems, databases and applications. Sunil’s specialties include customer information systems, customer database design and development, data modeling, cleansing and transformation, web and legacy systems, and personalization & customization for Internet, Extranet and Intranet solutions. He also has extensive knowledge of Internet protocols, networking, and application architecture. Prior to joining Elevation, Sunil started the Business Intelligence department at Giant Step and served as Director of New Technologies.

Justin Hood


In his role as creative and technical strategist, Justin focuses his efforts on providing customer acquisition and retention through creative strategy, technology implementation and user experience data analysis. Justin’s background in internet technologies and management services gives him unique perspective to provide innovative and inspired brand delivery and messaging. His diverse creative and technical expertise makes him well equipped to handle the various challenges for clients such as Pella Corporation, H2O Plus, Jones Lang LaSalle and Quill. As with much of the Elevation team, he came from Giant Step where he served as the director of enterprise systems architecture, responsible for providing technology planning and implementation, infrastructure design, web hosting, and applications management for such clients as Hallmark, General Motors and United Airlines. In this capacity, he led the design/build and ongoing management of Giant Step’s mission-critical internet data center as well as heading up the programs, partnerships and systems comprising Giant Step’s extensive development infrastructure.

Francesca Sparacino


Francesca is Elevation’s Director of Client Service, responsible for working closely with Elevation’s clients to develop a long-term strategy and general project framework, leveraging the digital space to meet clients’ business objectives. She is also responsible for ensuring client satisfaction is Elevation’s foremost priority. Recent work includes interactive business strategy engagements for Pella and Gateway Tour. Prior to joining Elevation, Francesca honed her integrated marketing expertise by providing strategic leadership on both the corporate and client services side of business. She headed up loyalty, online media and eCommerce marketing for Household International and HSBC, interactive strategy and website development for PepsiCo, multi-channel acquisition efforts for US Cellular and Verizon and integrated campaign development for Tribune. Accomplishments include business growth year over year, validation of the online channel in organizations traditionally driven by offline initiatives, unparalleled ROI and measureable results that have hit business objectives.
